Es Vedrà sits in the Cala d'Hort nature reserve, putting this peaceful space and some of Ibiza’s best beaches on your doorstep. The soft sands Cala d’Hort and secluded cove of Cala Carbó are renowned sunset spots, but you can enjoy Ibiza’s breath-taking sunsets from Villa Michaela’s private terraces.
The sunny tiers of terraces offer a myriad of places to soak up the sun or relax in the shade as well as two sparkling pools. The lower terrace is home to a summerhouse which is fully open to a natural stone terrace graced by two Balinese-style day beds and a large 8m x 4m pool. With a large dining table, seating ten, and barbecue, this shaded poolside spot is an idyllic outside dining space.
On the next terrace, overlooking the pool, generous sofa seating shelters under a cabana-style roof. Further tiers of terracing wind up the hillside to reveal a second 12m x 4m pool and sun-drenched terrace with loungers. Further terrace areas include additional sofa seating with magnificent views to Es Vedrà, bench seating under a wooden-roofed pagoda, and a more intimate dining space, seating six.
Inside, you are treated to the same plethora of places to relax; making Villa Michaela perfect for entertaining, but equally well-blessed when you are seeking solitude and a quiet place to chill.
The light, bright interiors feature whitewashed walls and polished cement floors, in a sophisticated combination of pared back luxury that reflects the natural surroundings, with unobtrusive nods to Balinese spiritualism in some of the statement pieces.
The upper terrace opens onto a large living space, where lounging, dining, and office spaces open up, as well as a bright kitchen. There is a dreamy feel to the romantic bedrooms, from sun-dappled white walls, a clean palette of white and soft greys, and the gauzy drapes of the four posters. Two spacious double rooms on the ground floor enjoy en-suite bathrooms, with one having access to the pool terrace. The tower room is a fantastic double with en-suite bathroom.
Further accommodation is found in two separate apartment suites, both with large double room, spacious en-suite, lounge area and small kitchen. One enjoys access to the terrace with al-fresco dining area, while the other boasts terrace access and a fireplace.
